The Texas County Gardeners, in conjunction with the University of Missouri Extension, is presenting a high tunnel workshop from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9.
Presentation will be made by Andy Read, horticulture specialist with the University of Missouri Extension, and will include construction of a high tunnel at the community garden site behind the extension office at 1418 S. Sam Houston Blvd. in Houston. This is a hands-on workshop, so come prepared. Lunch will be provided.
