Texas County fire departments were called to several fires Saturday afternoon.
At about 1 p.m. Saturday a grass fire was reported to have spread to woods off Highway AA west of Houston.
The address is 15474 Camden Lane. One structure was said to be in its path.
Firefighters from Roby responded.
A second grass fire was reported at 17468 Ridge Road, east of Houston. The Houston Rural Fire Department responded.
A third grass fire is at 16570 Highway UU. It is reported in trees.
The Summersville Fire Department was called at about 3 p.m. to assist Mountain View at a spreading grass fire at 2209 Highway W.
A short time later, another Summersville grass fire was at 22255 Edgemond Drive.
At Licking, a grass fire was reported at 20750 Mounty Drive off Highway VV at about 3:20 p.m.
