Contractor crews continued work this week on an asphalt overlay project for Highway 17 in Howell and Texas counties, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
Work is from Highway 106 in Summersville to U.S. 60 in Howell County. Weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Paving over the roadway surface restores a smooth ride, MoDOT said.
